The assembly of the shelf is very easy and requires no tools. All the parts and assembly instruction is provided. Just turn and twist the tubes against the panels and tighten them. The panels have rounded edges to prevent cuts and injuries. The shelves also have complementary drawer bins (11144/SD11144) which are not included in the set.
